The Forum is built on the experiences, learning and journeys of people in Dorset, who have wanted to be part of bringing about change.
We believe that people with lived experience of mental health problems have a wealth of specialist knowledge, valuable expertise and experiences. We welcome, respect and value people’s diverse experiences, identities and backgrounds.
Our journeys of Recovery are individual and unique to us but sharing our experiences about what has helped or hindered us in our own journeys can make a real difference for other people.
Your experiences can help to shape local services and influence change in Dorset. Our collective experiences and voice make us stronger and more effective in bringing about change. Together we can challenge prejudice and stigma, increase opportunity and build more inclusive communities.
